Our History
Pacific College was established in 1993 for the purpose of providing high quality education responsive to the training needs of medical and business studies aspirants, as well as to the employment demands in professional allied health and business occupations.
April 1998 - Initial ACCSC accreditation
Pacific College was first accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).
October 1998 - FEDERAL STUDENT AID
Pacific College was first authorized to offer federal aid (Title IV) funding for those students who apply using FAFSA.
May 1999 - Initial BVNPT program approval
Pacific College was first approved by the Board of Vocational Nurses and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT) to operate a Vocational Nursing program.
2007 - INITIAL OFFERING OF ASSOCIATE DEGREE PROGRAMS
In 2007, Pacific College was authorized by the State of California, ACCSC and the United States Department of Education to offer the Associate of Science Degree programs.
2009 - SATELLITE CAMPUS OPENED IN COMMERCE, CA
Due to continuous increasing demand for healthcare education, a satellite campus was opened in 2009 in the City of Commerce in Los Angeles County to accommodate students from the Los Angeles area.
SEPTEMBER 25, 2013 - Initial CCNE PROGRAM ACCREDITATION
Pacific College receives initial accreditation of its Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Completion Program from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
February 19, 2016 - Initial WSCUC accreditation
Pacific College receives first accreditation from WASC Senior College and University Commission.
nOVEMBER 8, 2021 - MSN-FNP PROGRAM RECEIVES CCNE ACCREDITATION
Pacific College receives initial accreditation of its Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Program from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
