Accreditations and Approvals
Institutional
WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) is the institutional accreditor of Pacific College.
Pacific College is approved to operate in California by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE). “Approved to operate” means compliance with state standards as set forth in the California Private Postsecondary Act of 2009 and Division 7.5 of Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations.
Pacific College is approved by the U.S. Department of Education to provide Federal Pell Grants, Federal Direct Student Loans, Federal Family Education Loans (subsidized, unsubsidized, & PLUS).
Approved for the training of Veterans and eligible persons under the provisions of Title 38, United States Code.
Registered Nursing Program
The pre-licensure registered nursing program at Pacific College is approved by California’s Board of Registered Nursing (BRN).
RN-to-BSN Completion Program
The baccalaureate degree program in nursing at Pacific College is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org).
The "Bachelor of Science in Nursing" program was initially accredited September 25, 2013.
Vocational Nursing Program
The vocational nursing programs at Pacific College are approved by California’s Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT) and have full approval for a four-year period commencing on May 10, 2022.
Master of Science in Nursing
The master's degree program in nursing at Pacific College is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org).
The "Master of Science in Nursing" program was initially accredited November 8, 2021.
