Financing Options for Noncitizens

Pacific College’s Financial Aid Office has prepared this collection information to assist non-citizen students and international students find options to afford direct costs of tuition and fees and indirect costs of living while attending school.

 

FEDERAL STUDENT AID FOR ELIGIBLE NONCITIZENS

Noncitizens may qualify to use Federal Student Aid (FSA) if they are a U.S. national or permanent resident. Qualifying noncitizens must submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be evaluated for FSA including Pell Grant, Subsidized Direct Loan, and Direct Unsubsidized Direct Loan.


Cal Grant from California Dream Act Application (CADAA)

Undocumented students, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients both valid and expired, U Visa holders, and students with Temporary Protected Status (TPS) who meet AB 540 requirements, live in California, and attend a classroom-based academic program in California can complete the CA Dream Act Application (CADAA) to be evaluated for Cal Grant state aid.
